42 5Well you can only keep things quiet for so long in the angling world!! I've been holding on to some of my winter captures but the cat's out the bag so might as well share a few. First off is this cracking rare visitor to the bank in the shape of this 28lb Linear. Whittled down More Takes Vanilla Maple bottom bait topped with fake corn doing the do. Fished with a stick of crumbed baits and 20 small sticks fired around the swim. -
23Joined my fellow angler Kevin Payne tolled me they like washed out looking pop ups so a 14 mm shellfish pop up went over a bed of liver nice 27lb 8oz -
33 2Just had this picture of a 30/13 from a tricky Berks water from new (ish!) member David Brittain. David was using Vanilla Maple on his third trip out this year. Well done mate. Long may it continue! -
18Landed 8 carp, including a lovely linear and an awesome low double common, in a few hours today,all on fruit on nut boilies as usual!! -

21After a brutal few months on the winter syndicate I was finally able to get back down and catch my first carp from the venue and just like buses two come at once the first a nice scaley fish of 25.4lb sacked that fish up recast the rod turned round and away it went at 29.14lb promatein shellfish pop ups doing the do happy days!! -
223 night time bites. On 24hr session this week. Warm , dry weather for once. 25.6lb mirror, commons of 23.10lb, 20.3lb. Shellfish clone popups over boilies. Popups dipped in vanilla maple hydrocore and sweetener. -
28Back on one of my main waters for this year .after a few blanks caught this lovely old common hook baits were liver of a mix of fruit and nut shell fish with Hydracore great result in over 25 foot of water . pulling power of this bait WIZARD 🤡🤩👀 -
24 1What a fish!⠀ Landed this awesome mirror on a short day session on a very tricky venue, caught it on a 10mm pink pop up fished over Fruit and nut!! Great result👌 -
25 2Mark's having a hell of a week in France. Here's his latest catch;⠀ After letting the other guy get he's first fish 38 common in my swim⠀ I crushed 18 mm liver put them on the spot and left it for 24 hours then put my 18 mm liver with 14 mm pop up on the spot⠀ Got woke up at 5.30 with the beauty 53 lb 12 oz⠀ The guy he said there's never been two 50 lb in one week we'll pleased⠀ Nice one jim -
14Great day today! ⠀ Was on the bank for around 6 hours and managed to land around 15 carp!!! The biggest been around 12-13lb and a couple more doubles aswell. I had one rod on Fruit and nut and the other on a wafter, with more takes Fruit and nut around it. and caught a couple more on the takes fruit and nut boilie!! -

21 1Short day session again today, managed to land 2 fish, unfortunately losing a much bigger one. This 14lb mirror being the biggest, which is also the same fish I had a couple of weeks ago!!! Guess it loves the fruit and nut! -
17Ended up with 9 from 10 takes. ⠀ Liver & f&n over f&n/liver & particles. When the reed bed went quiet I moved one rod to the edge of a silt bed on gravel.
